SeaWorld Spooktacular

SeaWorld Orlando is offering two distinct Halloween events this year. The gentler Spooktacular returns during daytime hours on weekends beginning September 18 through October 31 and is aimed at families with younger children. They can dress in costume, trick-or-treat in the park, attend a Halloween dance party and meet under-the-sea and Sesame Street characters. Spooktacular events are included in regular park admission.

Howl-o-Scream

Long a favorite Halloween event at Busch Gardens Tampa, Howl-o-Scream returns this year and also will take place at SeaWorld Orlando for the first time. The event takes place after hours at both parks Thursdays through Sundays from September 10 through October 31 and contains intense adult content, such as violence, gore, and blood in haunted houses, scare zones and other entertainment. Howl-O-Scream 2021 requires separate tickets, which start at $31.99. No costumes are allowed.

Gators, Ghosts and Goblins

Gatorland is bringing back its popular Gators, Ghosts and Goblins Halloween event for a third year of family fun and fright done right. The all-ages, daytime, family-friendly event takes place weekends from Oct. 9 through 31, 2021. It offers multiple themed haunt zones, interactive characters, animal meet-and-greets, Swamp Ghost’s Monster Museum, The Crocs and Cryptids Zone (where you can search for hidden cryptozoological beasts, including the park’s Skunk Ape!), and the Children’s Halloween Costume Parade with treat bags for participating kids. Guests are welcome to wear costumes (just nothing scary or gory).

Scream n' Stream

Drive in. Freak out. Load up the car with family and friends this Halloween. Drive inside a top-secret facility, known only as “Station 5”. Armed with laser guns, you and your group will come face to face with horrifying zombies and clowns. Can you blast your way to survival? Scream n’ Stream features live performers, elaborate lighting, surround sound, fog, and pyrotechnic effects — all from the comfort of your car. Scream n’ Stream takes place on select nights beginning Sept. 17 through Oct. 31 and is located near the Oviedo Mall. Tickets start at $47 per car (not per person).

The Haunted Road

One of the last remaining haunted roads in Central Florida is now a seasonal drive-thru experience, returning on Sept. 30 and continuing on select dates through Nov. 7. As you travel the Haunted Road, you will be disrupting spirits and witnessing on-demand ghost sightings. But proceed at your own risk: It is unclear if the spirits remain to ward off future victims or lure unsuspecting travelers to join them as part of The Haunted Road! (Please note: You may experience sudden and scary action and sounds at The Haunted Road that may not be suitable for young children.) Tickets start at $16.99 per person.
