Who designed each course and how many courses are available at at the Bear's Den?

The Bear's Den Resort is home to three Signature Golf Courses designed by top PGA legends, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus.

Who is eligible to play at the Bear's Den Golf Courses?

Since the Bear's Den Resort is part of the Reunion Resort preferred partner program, our guests are eligible to play on the legendary courses on-site.

How do I book a tee time?

Please call 407-396-3199 or contact the resort concierge.

Tee times are not guaranteed so it is highly recommended to book your tee time in advance.

What is the dress code? Is there a dress code for non-playing riders?

The proper golf attire for men is a shirt with a collar, or mock-neck shirt, with sleeves and slacks or Bermuda-length golf shorts. For ladies dresses, skirts, slacks, or golf shorts with a golf shirt or blouse.

For non-playing riders, proper golf attire, as outlined above, is required.

Are there accommodations for handicap players? What does the handicap flag allow?

Yes, everyone is encouraged to play the wonderful game of golf.

The handicap flag allows the handicap golfer to park closer to the tees and greens to help make these areas more accessible.

What is the pace of play for each golf course?

The allotted pace of play for 18-holes on each of the Signature courses at Reunion Resort is 4 hours and 20 minutes or less.

Can someone who is not golfing ride with me during my round?

Ride-along guests are welcomed based upon cart availability, with an additional fee of $40 per cart.

Are outside food, drinks, or coolers permitted?

No, coolers and outside food and drinks are not permitted. Each golf cart comes with its own cooler filled with 2 waters for the enjoyment of our golfers. Beverage carts make their way around all three golf courses with snacks and refreshments available for purchase throughout your round.

Are golf club and shoe rentals available?

Both men’s and women’s golf club sets are available to rent with a rental fee of $75 per day. Included with your daily golf club rental is 14 Callaway brand clubs, a bag, and 2 sleeves of golf balls.

Rental shoes are available for $15 per day.

Is there golf club storage available?

Yes, complimentary club storage is available to resort guests. This includes both hard and soft travel cases.

Are practice balls included with the greens fees?

Yes, practice balls are complimentary 1 hour prior to a round of golf.

Who is eligible to drive a golf cart?

Only golfers with a valid driver’s license may operate a golf cart.

Am I able to ship my golf clubs to and from the resort?

Am I able to use the practice facilities if I am not playing? What is the cost?

Yes, use of the putting greens and chipping area is complimentary to resort guests. Hitting golf balls on the driving range is an additional $20 fee payable at the Pro Shops without a booked tee time.

What is the raincheck policy?

Rainchecks will only be issued under the circumstances of course closure or emergency.

Are golf cart rentals available?

All golf cart rentals for property use can be rented through the Tennis Centre by calling 407-396-5370. However, the rental carts cannot be used for a round of golf since they are not insured or fully equipped to be used on our three courses.

Is there on-site dining available at the clubhouses?

Yes, the Nicklaus Clubhouse is home of Traditions Restaurant. The Watson/Palmer Clubhouse also has on-site dining available.
