One of the great American traditions is the summer road trip to destinations unknown and to old favorites. With the end of summer on the horizon, why not plan one more adventure that culminates in a stay at The Bear’s Den Resort Orlando? You’ll find so many options for recreation and relaxation on our property and in Orlando that you’re sure to create new family memories every day!

Golf with a Pro

The Bear’s Den Resort Orlando is one of the only places in the world where you can play signature PGA golf courses designed by three of golf’s greatest legends: Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Tom Watson. Make the day extra special with a golf experience that includes a lesson and then playing one of these courses with a pro. The small student to teacher ratio makes the National Golf School the best around.

Water Park

Right around the corner, from your luxury home, you’ll find an aquatic playground sure to delight everyone in your group! With spraying water cannons, rope bridges, water sprays and a giant water bucket that empties every few minutes, the tropical Water Park is undeniably the hub of family activity. When it’s time to relax, float in an inner tube along the lazy river, under the water slide and passing waterfalls or relax in your own private cabana with a refreshing drink.

Delicious Dining

Even the pickiest eater in your group will find something delicious at one of the restaurants that The Bear’s Den Resort Orlando guests have access to. Start your day off right with an American breakfast prepared from locally sourced fresh ingredients at Traditions. When you’ve worked up an appetite playing in the water, stop by The Cove Bar & Grille or The Grille at the Water Park for classic sandwiches, and salads, and adult beverages. The Grande Lobby Sushi Bar serves guests in the late afternoon. Finally, cap off your day at award-winning steakhouse 7593 Chophouse or rooftop restaurant Eleven with its breathtaking views of the nightly Florida sunset and nearby theme-park fireworks.

Thrilling Theme Parks

Summer is a popular time for Orlando’s theme parks to debut new attractions, and this year is no exception. At Walt Disney World’s Epcot, you’ll find the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This family-thrill attraction features the first-ever reverse-launch on a Disney coaster and is one of the largest fully enclosed coasters in the world! SeaWorld Orlando has introduced its Ice Breaker coaster, which features four launches, both backwards and forwards, culminating in a reverse launch into the steepest beyond vertical drop in Florida.
